“Sessions in Song &
Swing,” the focus
will be in basic Musicianship
for the Jazz Vocalist. The
concentration: on
Standard and Jazz Standard
Songs, Improvisation with
and without lyrics, Exercises
in Melody and Harmony, and
Jazz Rhythm Conception for
swinging a Jazz Choir, as
opposed to a “Show Choir.”
